Venue fixtures Repatch in Patch & Fixture Setup and select OFL definitions in Fixture Library.
Static Looks Recreate looks in Scene Designer.
Autoloops and overrides Build Cue lists and Effect Wizard effects, then assign Live Control buttons.
Track scripts Rebuild events against audio in Show Timeline; scripts do not import.
DJ-driven playback Choose Music Library playback or Sound-to-Light for the new workflow.

What carries over

Use your fixture addresses, channel modes, cue order and design notes as references for manual setup.

What to rebuild

Relackout does not import SoundSwitch show files. Rebuild looks, timing and controls; only fixture definitions in Open Fixture Library format can be imported.

Frequently asked questions

Does Relackout import SoundSwitch scripts?

No. Rebuild the lighting events in Show Timeline and the fixture patch manually.

Does Relackout replace SoundSwitch's DJ integrations?

Do not assume equivalent DJ integration. Relackout offers Music Library, Sound-to-Light and MIDI clock; SoundSwitch specializes in linked DJ playback.

Is licensing flexibility a reason to switch?

Both offer monthly, yearly and perpetual options. Compare the workflow instead; the SoundSwitch perpetual offer covers the 2.x series.
